Without logging in, OPAC is available
If a Library Member logs in OPAC is available together with their circultation details - historic and current. If a Librarian logs in, Stock Take and Front Desk is also available.
OPAC
By scanning the OPAC - QR Code for the library, OPAC can be searched. A list of matches will be displayed. If an item is selected, further details of it will be shown together with the stock details.
Stock Take
Using the Stock Take Date in Papyrus, barcodes can be scanned. This will mark the stock item with the Stock Take Date and display its shelf.
Circulation
A simple Front Desk will allow a member number to be entered or scanned. It will display the member's name, member type and category and ID Photo if available.
Stock barcodes can then be scanned or typed in. If found, the ISBD, Shelf, Collection and Location will be displayed. If the item is available, an ISSUE button will be shown. If its currently issued to the member, a RETURN button will be shown. If its issued to another member, an option will be given to Switch to the other Member.
If a stock item that has been issued is found when the member number is scanned, the member and item details will be shown.
