This screen allows you to enter various stock statuses and the availability of stock for issuing purposes. Typically, this is used to indicate stock that is on reserve; sent for binding; lost; on order etc.

Stock Status Table Fields

This is a single digit alpha or numeric code. All new stock items will be given code 0. The series module will use status code 9 for items that have been skipped. Keep this code consistent with the meaning of that description

This i displayed in the cataloguing screen and the OPAC search screen.

Enable this check box if you allow circulation of this stock status. If it is unticked, the Front Office circulation module will ask for a password to circulate this stock
